Modchester Mod Ball
The most important task of any weekender is to get the whole event off with a bang. And we certainly managed it this year with a full night of classic mod tunes from Hideaway resident DJs and extra special guest DJ all the way from Dusseldorf - FRANK POPP.
A combination of a new venue, an international Mod DJ and the sight of Mike dancing to the Kinks made this the most memorable start to a Modchester weekender EVER.

From Grant Green to Ocean Colour Scene
The Modchester Saturday afternoon session is always a relaxed affair and this year was no difference. A good turnout of scooters was matched with 50 years of Mod Sounds on the decks (the title of the afternoon was met with some glee). Special mention goes to Mike with his Ska, John Kelly with some nice Jazzy dancefloor sounds and Paul with a selection of Beat and Modern Mod tunes. And as always we had our now legendary last hour double-deck R&B spot from Banks and Hoss.

Saturday night of Modchester 2008 saw resident DJs Paul, Mike & Neil joined by special guests Roger Banks and Hideaway debutants Frank Popp and Pete Griffin play a thrilling 6 hours of classic 60s mod club sounds and New Breed R&B to the biggest Hideaway crowd EVER.....
