If you want to dance the night away to a full spectrum of Mod tunes from the past 50 years, then there is no better
place on this earth than the annual Manchester Mod Ball and 2010 proved to be no exception, with tunes spun by
the Hideaway resident DJs and extra special guests Mark Ellis and all the way from Berlin - Frank Popp.

The raison d'etre of Modchester Saturday afternoon session is to relax, have a drink and chat with friends old and new.
A good selection of clothes and record seller plus an excellent showing of scooters meant that this year's afternoon
session was the best attended in Modchester history.

The Hideaway Club
Saturday night of Modchester 2010 saw a record crowd entertained by resident DJs Paul, Mike & Neil plus special
guests Mark Ellis, Frank Popp from Berlin and Manchester's own Suga Merchant playing the Hideaway's legendary
mix of classic 60s mod club sounds and new breed R&B - with a hint of Ska and Rocksteady. The room was rammed
full, the roof terrace was rammed full and better still the dancefloor was rammed full right through to throwing out time
at 3am. In other words A CLASSIC !
